WOW! Well, in the past week we have had our server go down, change URL’s twice and pages have changed! WOW. Amazing what can happen right? Well, now we hope to have all the bugs worked out so let’s see how it goes! Right now, if you type in www.rockinwaves.com it will automatically redirect you to our Justin.TV page, we are working on getting that fixed as of this blog posting and we will post in the Facebook group when rockinwaves.com is back up. Also, if you noticed the Ustream Chat and Vaughnlive Feed pages have been changed around. Well, since we no longer use Ustream we decided no sense in keeping the page “Ustream feed” since we no longer use Ustream and converted it into the Vaughnlive Feed BUT we have kept the Ustream chat room. This way you don’t have to sign up for a Vaughnlive account if you don’t want to and just chat with us via the ustream chat. Also, we have a new page up! We have recycled the old Vaughnlive page and turned it into a Justin TV page! With some cool stuff on it! We now have 2 chat rooms on that page this way you can chat with us on the Justin TV chat or the Ustream chat so whichever feed you go with, you will ALWAYS be in the discussion 🙂 Well that’s about all for right now. We are 49 days into the Summer of Rockin and so far it is looking awesome! Thanks to everyone who has come by so far! Finally got a new computer so things will go alot smoother now and will actually have a visual feed now 🙂 Also, Randy Carsten from Car Tunes with Randy will be making his return tonight to Rockin WAVES 11294 to do a late night show with me and we will be broadcasting on Ustream while Hank and Jim are simulcasting on VaughnLive and so 2 great shows going on at the same time so double the pleasure! DOUBLE THE FUN! Hank and Jim’s show starts at 9 PM tonight and then myself and Randy will start our show at 10:20 PM Eastern! Don’t miss it! Also, one other thing, next week, I won’t be doing a show at all that week due to me taking a much needed vacation 🙂 So we might be having people fillin for me during my absence so be sure and keep tuned in! Hey everyone! WOW! Who knew that the Summer of Rockin 2013 would be like this! Thanks to everyone who has come by the shows and have been supporting us thus far! It really means a lot! We now have a new section on our site called “Feedback Survey,” we’ve been wondering what you guys think of the shows, DJ’s, and other things in general and so all you have to do is answer the questions and it’s totally anonymous.

In other news, the main Rockin WAVES studios is getting a MAJOR overhaul in the next few days. Our new computer is in! It’s currently getting set up as we speak and we hope to have it completed and on the air after the weekend! Let me just say, I’m excited as heck right now and I know, Rockin WAVES will continue to thrive with the new system and everything.

Well, we now have a feature on our website where you can post a link for our website to your Facebook from the website! Where before you could just “like” the site, you can now share and post to your heart’s content. Also for you “Twitterers” we are working on getting a Twitter thing as well.

We are tweaking things here and there so we greatly thank all of you for bearing with us as we keep making adjustments to make the site better.

By the way, as I mentioned on the Facebook group, I said this past weekend that my Dad was going to be live on the station to do diagnostics to determine what kind of computer I will need and he did and so we now know a general idea of what to get and what to look for. Now comes the task of looking and selecting it.

Also, in other Rockin WAVES news, we currently have a couple of DJ’s that are on standby kind of. One who has already done a show (Colby) and right now we are just now working on getting him a permanent day and time that’s suitable for him so expect Colby to come full time (hopefully) soon to The Rockin WAVES 11294 Radio Network.

Another DJ that we have on standby is a guy named James. We are currently awaiting his demo so we can find out what he sounds like. So hopefully, we will have him on the air soon with us on Rockin WAVES.

Well, something new going on here. Whenever we are not live, you will see the Blog page and then when there is a live show, you will see the live feed on the front page. Enjoy!

Well as you can probably tell, there is no Wednesday show. Why? Well, my boss decided to change up my days off. AGAIN. So, for right now, my show will be Monday and Thursdays for right now. It might change again next week. Anyways, we are 9 days into the Summer of Rockin and WOW what a 9 days it has been so far! We’ve been having alot of people drop by our new website (which was officially launched out of BETA 9 days ago) and we’ve been having great success with it.

Oh by the way, about the BETA thing, when we launched our website (Back in early April) we were in BETA mode and adding new things and testing new things and we didn’t have our own domain yet. When we launched the Summer of Rockin, we were able to buy our own domain name and redirect everything to here and we’ve found great success thus far. So, thanks to everyone so far for their support!

When I started Rockin WAVES 11294 back in March of 2008, I never in a million years thought it would be like this 🙂 This is basically my dream times a billion and I am so happy 🙂 I never thought we would have multiple DJ’s on our airwaves and I never thought we would have our own website, AND I would have never thought we would have lots of viewers at every show!

There are a lot of people I want to thank for helping us get to this point but I am afraid if I list the names, I would leave someone out so here’s what I’ll do, I’ll just say: THANK YOU.

Ok enough of the gooey crap. LOL. Anyways, expect more to come throughout the weeks and months as we still have 3 and a half months left of fun in the sun here on the beach overlooking the Musical Ocean! The Summer of Rockin 2013 is in FULL FORCE!!

Is only 3 days away! Are you ready?

Hello, this is gppl (Gabe). I am making this blog post to announce that the Rockin’ Waves website now supports Facebook integration! This and future blog posts will now have a “Like” button and a comments box, which can be accessed through clicking on the post’s title and logging into your facebook account. (This is actually mostly a test)

Today’s program went very well! We had a lot of fun in today’s show and it was the first official FULL  show that we did on our website. We got an overall good response on it and people loved the Request form so it looks like we are off to a good start 🙂 Hope to see everyone again on the next show!
