Monday, President’s Day, Come by for a great show!

And we are continuing to truck along! We have a new DJ on The Rockin WAVES 11294 Radio Network. He also runs Star Radio his name is Charlie and he also has been gracious to simulcast my shows on his station as well which I greatly appreciate. He does his Rockin WAVES show every Tuesday from 3 to 6 PM and will be starting a Friday show that will be after mine so be sure to tune in! Also, in case yall didn’t know, I’m not only part of the SDP Network but I am also part of Stereo DJ Productions (otherwise known as SDJP) which is sort of like the same thing just a different name. We also do All Stereo Marathons (which is like the All Star Show just a different name) and we will be doing our 2nd ever All Stereo Marathon on February 8th and it will be streamed on our Uvlog site but we will also have the Ustream chatroom open just in case yall would like to use Ustream chat instead. Also, it’s very early in the planning stages, but, me and weasel2htm are both planning on putting together an All Star Show for President’s Day weekend. More details on that to come later.

I know I’m about a week late. Oh well. Well, we had a very successful New Year’s show. Even though Uvlog was derping half the time. We made do on Justin 🙂 But anyway, currently, we are testing simulcasting on multiple sites and so far, it’s working fairly well. Anyways, next thing to plan, the 6 Year Anniversary Show!! Hey everyone! December is always a busy time for the Rockin WAVES 11294 Radio Network! Check out the big Christmas Shows that are coming up!

December 24th at 12 PM: Special Rockin WAVES 11294 Christmas Special – Chris will be wishing you a Merry Christmas by bringing you some great Christmas music till 1 PM when……
December 24th at 1 PM: Billy Coore will be doing the what used to be dubbed “impossible” he will be bringing you 35 hours of pure Christmas music! From 1 PM December 24th, till Midnight December 26th, Billy Coore will be bringing you Christmas music to help you have a Rockin Merry Christmas.
December 26th at 1 PM: The Top 100 of 1961
December 27th at 1 PM: The Top 100 of 1966
December 28th at 1 PM: The Top 77 of 1977
December 31st at 3 PM: For the past 5 years we have been bringing in the New Year with you and this year we are making it the sixth year! Rockin WAVES will be bringing in 2014 All over the world and from 11:50 PM till 1:50 AM in a special Simulcast, we will be bringing in 2014 on the All Star Show But don’t worry after we end the simulcast at 1:50 AM, we will still be going for about 40 more minutes. That’s right, we are going till 2:30 AM! So join us all day and most of the night for the 6th Annual Rockin WAVES 11294 New Years Around The World.

Well, since the last post, we’ve reached over 100 members in the Rockin WAVES Facebook group. Let me just say THANK YOU! Also, we have officially announced when we are starting the Holiday of Rockin 2013! To find out when we are starting it, go to the Facebook group. Also, we are debating (and more than likely it may not happen this year) but we are thinking about bringing back the Rockin WAVES 11294 Awards. If you remember back in 2011 when we were on Stickam, we did a type of awards show where we gave out “awards” to different viewers and just had a good time. Well, last year, we thought about it but ultimately shelved it due to not a lot of time to plan something like that. Well, this year, we are thinking about it but like I said, it’s a very SLIM chance that it will happen.

In other news, lol. We are really enjoying our affiliation with ShaChat 🙂 It’s really has been an amazing journey thus far. We are also excited about the new website that’s coming soon. Oh, you didn’t hear? Well, ShaChat has decided to change their name due that when they started ShaChat it was marketed for a certain region but since they are no longer marketing for that region (or something like that), and due to users requests, they are changing to Uvlog. It is expected to be launched Monday and we are excited for it.

So, in a nutshell: this coming Monday (November 18th) ShaChat will become Uvlog, the Holiday of Rockin is coming soon and a 25% of the Rockin WAVES 11294 Awards happening.

If you noticed, lately, we’ve been changing the look on some of the pages. Well, that’s mainly because we switched video servers. We went to another video streaming site that proved to be less buggy and more reliable so with that we have discontinued our affiliation with VaughnLive. Go check out the pages and surf around and see the improvement! You won’t be disappointed! Well, not much to update except we are working on some new ideas and getting things ready for the Holiday of Rockin 2013! Start date to come later! Until then, keep on rockin folks!

WOW! Let me just say WOW. Sad to see the Summer of Rockin go but there’s always next year to look forward to. Thanks to everyone who came by this past summer. Be sure and keep coming because we have lots of stuff happening all the time here on Rockin WAVES 11294. In the meantime, keep on rockin folks!

I’m proud of announce that I’m an unofficial member of the SDP (Stereo Dust Particles) and I will be doing my first shift on an All Star Show this weekend on August 24, 2013! Be sure and come by DJAaronRadio on VaughnLive to catch all the action! So far from what I know it will be DJAaron on Friday night and then all day Saturday will be a variety (or Plethera for extended vocabulary people) of different peoeple from the SDP and somewhere in there I will be doing my show on the All Star Show so be sure and keep on the lookout here and on the Facebook group for all the info!

Well, with less than 2 weeks to go in the Summer of Rockin 2013, figured now is a good time to let yall know of some of the schedule changes that will be made to the schedule AFTER the Summer of Rockin ends. Now, as far as I know, Stewart, The Flying Scotsman, Dr. Johnny Lovetrain, and Yellow will all still be at the same time and day but some of my shows will be going bye bye with the end of Summer. Here we go!

Sunday:
5 PM Eastern/10 PM UK Time – The Flying Scotsman Show

Monday:
WIDE OPEN

Tuesday:
7 PM – Billy Coore’s Classics
9 PM – Yellow and Sasquach Overnight

Wednesday:
1 PM – The Midweek Survey Show (EDITOR’S NOTE: Decided that since The Midweek Survey Show was one of the more popular shows this season, we decided to give it a permanent place on the schedule)

7 PM – Dr. Johnny’s Wayback Machine

Friday:
1 PM – The Chris Rogers Friday Show

As you can see, instead of me doing 6 shows a week, I basically cut out half of my shows and doing only 3 a week. Along with the other DJ’s doing their shows. Also, the schedule is tentative because we will be changing some things around as the time gets closer. Also, we only have a few months to go until The Holiday of Rockin! So, stay tuned!
